    ... me thinks :p

Ive had Ronny since the 6th of June and Pets at Home told me 'he' was a boy. So yeah, i went along with this.
Only recently though ive been thinking how i know rats balls are big! and noticeable.
So thinking i took a look. And i cant see anything :eek:hmy:!!!
Im like 90% Ronnys a she now :/
And im lucky, ive been thinking about getting Ronny a mate and if she is a she and i thought she was a he, i woulda got a he and ended up with a dozen rat babies!! lol
Im still not 100 % sure though.
On a side note, it shows you how crap P@H are.
They cant even sex their animals correctly these days!

i got my hamster (who is now in hammy heaven) from PAH and was told he was a boy, but the vet told me was actually a girl. I still called him a him, and his name was always hamish, even though he was a little girl.
My bro in law to be got a rabbit for his wife for a xmas pressie, and was told he was a he, but nooo, he was actually a she aswell according to the vet!

Apparently this happens alot at p@h and if you find you have a female, as they only think they sell males, the people that supply them keep all females for breeding, you are aloud to take them back, im sure you probably are not going to do that cos you already love your pet im thinking, if they get pregnant you are also allowed to take them and the youngsters back , although i heard someone got given a new cage to put all the babies in before the policy was confirmed by P@H.

It doesn't surprise me at all.
My lovely little girl Crystal (syrian hamster)
I was told she was a boy as I had specifically asked for a boy, because from my own experience I find them a lot tamer than females and I've had more female hamsters than male, so kinda wanted to balance it out a bit.
But I did worry that she may have been in with males.
