That we rescued before winter due to being underweight. I believe they were less than 300g at the time.
Well they've come home yesterday to be transitioned from. The sanctuary to back in the wild.
    They are brutes now!!
So welcome to branston and prickle...

Mooky has been very excited by it all...... 20170328_161114.jpg 20170329_154857.jpg 20170329_160005.jpg 20170329_160026.jpg

    Cute.

I used to assist a wonderful lady in hedgehog rescue.

So satisfying to see them big, plump and healthy and going back into their natural environment.

    Well done.

mum's 2 that she has taken home with her.
Last night we heard screaming, it sounded like a rabbit screaming. Awful noise.
Anyway, next door text me asking if i had both my hogs. So i went out and checked (@11pm) yup. Both staring at me in the hutch.
I shouted over the fence that yes i had mine, why??
She had a 3rd one trying to climb IN the hutch with her two. So she let it in to eat and then left it in the run over night with food and water. She let it go after that. So between our 5 in neighbouring houses, a man who lives on the estate round the corner also having 5 (he collected 2 today and has had 3 over winter stay, they were heavy enough to hibernate. But they didn't they just lived in his shed)
God knows how many we have on our little estate!! Surrounded by fields and woodlands i suppose it's a little haven for them!

Lovely to see they are doing so well and have returned, they really are special little animals. Your very lucky having so many around especially these days, hopefully it will mean in the future there will be even more still.
