My Bo is at end stage CHF now. Her stomach has filled with fluid but no cough at all as before. She's tootling along eating but more often now in her trolley on walks.

She's on full meds (Libeo, Cardalis, Vetmedin) but I just thought it was worth asking if anybody had used anything else to reduce any fluid. Either manual or supplement wise.

We are encouraging her to drink plenty of water and letting her out every hour for a wee but her stomach is staying the same. No worse but no better.

My vet has refused to drain it. I don't really want to switch vets at this stage but I would personally like it draining.

Have you asked why the vet won’t drain it?

If it’s a painful procedure I don’t think I’d put my dog through it just to prolong the inevitable tbh.
