Are the red labradors rare? I have never seen one, or seen one advertised.

    Also does anyone have one?

Do you mean this colour they're stunning. I don't think they're very common though.

Yeah that's the colour. I was reading the breed standard and it said red fox. Gorgeous dog.

He is lovely working line I think I just went into google. If it's in the standard they can be shown but I don't think you would find one very easily.

The difference in those pictures and the one I posted is a bit shocking. Those ones look obese almost. Although I did manage to sound completely stupid by asking what breed a working line lab at a gundog display was.

I know a lady who has been breeding these as gundogs for quite a few years now. Hers are very much in demand because as well as looks they make excellent gundogs. A friend of mine has one and she is amazing

They are lovely. Would like love one. Might have to stick with a liver one as they are so rare.

There are more and more of them now but you would have to be willing to wait for one

They are stunning dogs, but make sure obviously they are KC reg, as I have heard of red setters being mixed into bloodlines to create the fox red colour. So handsome!! x

Well start now and you might find a good breeder and get onto their list :)
It took my OH 4 years to research his Chesapeake
