Back in early January I ordered a hamburger bed for Tabatha which was the result of an unsolicited Facebook advertisement.

I went on their website to order using Pay Pal. I now see the same website is off line. IMG_20190212_042103.jpg IMG_20190212_042133.jpg

Although I received a confirmation Email from the US firm Raidmart.com re the order I have heard nothing since despite me sending Emails as regards to dispatch.

Of course, they could be a company in genuine trouble, or have I fallen victim of a scam?

I've seen comments on FB that seem to think I may have done.

    Anyone else experienced similar problems?

Thank you so much Jonescat. I'm glad it was only £24-99 I'd spent and not a huge amount. I guess I should've been suspicious of the 'free postage'.

Thank goodness I used Pay Pal as well as I wouldn't want a rogue firm to have a record of my bank details!

I'll be contacting Pay Pal for a refund.

    Many thanks again.

I’d say it was defo a scam or a drop shipper (where you order the item off them and then they order it from China and have it sent to you direct, pocketing the difference).

Either way when you get your money back you should look at a site called aliexpress and save yourself a lot of money and buy it direct from China yourself. I have bought quite a lot from Ali express and if you don’t mind the shipping times you can get some bargains.

That's brilliant Bilbo! And was a difference in price too.

I've contacted Pay Pal and will look into this one.

Many thanks to all for your kind help.
