rabbit claws

    One of my rabbits claws are quite long she doesnt scratch much like the others can i clip them carefully and safely

    Yep its easy enough to do. Rabbit generally have longer nails than dogs because they aredesigned to dig so keep this in mind so as not to take them too short. Use proper animal nail clippers rather than human ones as they are sharper and give a better edge. If your bunny is a light colour you should be able to see the quick inside the nail (vein running in the nail) but if you have a dark bunny it may not be visable. Make sure you don't cut too close to the quick as it will make your bunny quite sore and be extra careful not to cut into the quick either. If your unsure of where to cut its probably best taking her to the vet first so they can show you the correct length and what to look for.
