In light of recent events, I find the following quote to be most felicitous.

“To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticise.”
    François-Marie Arouet. (Voltaire)

Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.

The Ancient Egyptian proverb in my signature I think it very important.

Man must learn to increase his sense of responsibility and of the fact that everything he does will have its consequences.

Do you not think the above 'bolded' is tempting one, if not all, of the sisters of fate?

Surely you should have written, Magyarmum circa whatever date you want to kid us on with.....

and then, as a punishment for telling fibs to everyone, put the following symbol % directly after your true age, to discover just how dead you actually are.:Smuggrin

    You big fibber! :Jawdrop

    You never asked about my well being at all. You simply said;

Perhaps, in your moment of wild excitement, you simply forgot to add your sincere concerns regarding my welfare, both physically and psychologically, and so it is with strict regard to those *concerns* of yours, be they sincere or just general nosy neighbouring, I am able to reliably inform you that, for the time being, I am still a free man, even though I remain a prisoner of my terribly tortured mind.
Somewhere down one of the many dark and shadowy corridors of the labyrinth of my mind, there's a door.....
I have to find it before the grim reaper eventually finds me.

    Today is a good day.

At 12:00pm precisely, I'm due for another exorcism.

Tis an excellent day for an exorcism too.

Oh you poor dear, how you must be suffering! Don't worry though 'cos Magyarmum is here to help you.

Contrary to what you've been told you're not suffering from Edgar Allan syndrome so I'd advise you to quit smoking opium forthwith and boot that raven out of the house.

I've seen the symptoms too many times before not to recognise when someone has a serious case of Tokolosh which although not life threatening can severely affect the brain and naturally one's thinking.

In case you've never seen one here's a picture of the little offender that causes all the trouble ...

The cure is very simple although you might have to consult a South African sangoma, if you can find one in Finland, You need to sprinkle these salts on your food three times a day for a month by which time hopefully you'll have recovered from this terrible brain fever from which you've been suffering!

    Good luck my friend!

    .....
Was it not for the characters in my head
I'd be laid in the ground and stone cold dead
No grandiose stone to mark my crypt
No words e'er written in finest script.
And those, perchance, to pass me by
Oblivious to who beneath might lie
Will wander aimless on and on
Until their shadows too are gone.

Was it not for the hauntings of my mind
By demons dark and oft unkind
I'd not have glimpsed the fires in hell
Nor the forsaken souls who there do dwell
I saw the suffering on their faces
Those men and women of different races
And lost are they for eternity
Such be their toll for perversity

I trust the folks within my head
They've never lied or sought me dead
They never stole or ate my children
Or saw me broken and grief ridden
They've walked with me, the miles to nowhere
Braved the battles of psychological warfare
So I'm not about to ditch them now
    How could I anyhow?o_O

What we don’t understand, we fear. What we fear, we judge as evil. What we judge as evil, we attempt to control. And what we cannot control…we attack.

As I walked out the door toward the gate that would lead to my freedom, I knew if I didn't leave my bitterness and hatred behind, I'd still be in prison.

Ooh Nissan Main Dealer. (Said to greater effect in a Seth Efrican accent.;))

    That reminds me...

The following quote has been credited to Nelson Mandela, amongst others.

'Resentment is like swallowing poison and expecting the other person to die'

    Which is actually a contraction of;

'Resentment is like a poison we carry around inside us with the hope that when we get the chance we can deposit it where it will harm another who has injured us' ('The Angry Christian'') Bert Ghezzi.

Yet the harsh fact is, folks tend carry this poison with risk to themselves.:Angelic
