Hi Folks, Another wee update before y'all start nagging me again. Things continue to develop slowly but surely in the right direction. We have now made a little progress in the food direction. Moo has agreed that she will have dry in the morning but wet at night. The intake of the wet food has meant I have been able to mix a little Zyklene in, just to help her relax a bit more, and we saw the benefits of this within the first 12 hours. Instead of closeting herself in her big bed, under the big bed, yesterday she decided to 'hang out' at the edge of our bedstead or curled up under the window sill. Last night, when OH came home she was lying beside the scratching post in the middle of the room even though there were other cats wandering around the room. Today, McGee was sitting up on the windowsill and she was only about 6" away on the floor. Then, I shook the treat box, which resulted in 3 cats suddenly all within a few feet of each other...... You can just about see Abby at the very far left of the piccie: Moo didn't eat all of her treats and McGee is wondering what he can do to get his chops on the last one...... A few seconds after the last piccie, he (as usual... ) pushed his luck and got a clump on the bonce for over-stepping the mark!!! Her hissing now comes in fits and starts so I would say we are continuing to do well and progress keeps being made. Just to add, at night - when the other cats are all downstairs asleep - she really does come out of herself and runs around like a wild thing. I can also tell you that she has football skills George Best would have been proud of..... especially at 3 in the morning!!!! .
