Hi
We have a very lovely Cane Corso / Mastiff cross who was a rescue.
Apart from one issue, we have the perfect dog who is very obedient and loving indoors.
Unfortunately, when we're out walking, she lunges at other pedestrians/cyclists/and especially other dog walkers.
Due to her size and weight, she often scares other people even though she only wants to get to them to say hello as when she does meet other dogs she is very relaxed and gentle.
We want her to be relaxed so we can take her in towns etc and take her anywhere we want to go.

We have been looking for qualified dog behaviourists in a 20 mile radius of South London.

Most we come across are mainly dog trainers not behaviourists.
Also, there don't seem to be any practical qualifications for this.
The letters after their names most we have come across seem to relate to organisations that have multiple choice examinations and no actual practical examinations. I am sorry but a multiple choice exam is not a professional assessment.
Also, a lot seem to want to do the behaviour training by zoom. How can this be done by zoom or want to sit and interview the dog in the house, drinking tea and charging ÂŁ100 an hour.
We need practical help by someone accompanying us on walks.
Help / suggestions welcome
