Oh gord things are going from bad to worse. Yesterday Sadie went to vets with a manky smelly ear. Turns out she has an ear infection and is now on drops.
This morning I came down to not a very nice sight. She had some very bad diarrhea. She looked very sorry for herself last night. Im wondering whether it could be the food. Shes always been on a raw food diet, and we've maintained that from the breeder with the exact same brand of frozen meat (Prize Choice). OH decided to try raw meat from the butchers. We bought a pack which was Pet Mince (Basically minced Chicken, Carcusses and Beef in one) which she happily ate on Sunday morning. On Monday morning we gave her OX Heart Mince which she took a long while to eat, infact most of the day (Should have removed the bowl after a couple of hours really!) Im wondering whether it could be the mince from the butchers that has not agreed with her, but is it really that much different from the frozen fresh packs by Prize Choice.

She's gone to work with Daddy today (who's working in his nan's garden) so he will keep an eye on her, and give her plenty of water. Do you think It would be best just feeding her biscuits today, rather than any wet meat?

Was the butchers mince frozen or did you freeze it?

How long has it been since the pup was wormed & how old is the pup?

You could try a little scrambled egg a few times a day this does help bind the stomach...:)

    Butchers mince was frozen.

We wormed her on 17th May. She had Flee Spot on on Friday.

    Pup is nearly 12weeks old.

    IMO...

The pup should be wormed every 2 weeks upto 12 weeks & then every 4 weeks until 12 months.

    hth...:)

If your pup is only 12 wk old you may find the ox heart mince is a bit on the rich side for her at the moment. Try her with a bit of scrambled egg that usually helps settle a poorly tum, the other option would be cooked chicken and rice.
