Anyone know of what i should expect when going to puppy training in 3 weeks .I think the one we will be using is a little different than the norm in that the lady specialises in training dogs to be shown (Crufts etc),The class is based at Denton in Manchester and the lady who runs the class is a ridgeback owner hence my intention to use her class me having a Ridgeback puppy.

I would find out what methods they use, do you need to take food treats etc, and see if you can pop along and have a look at one, how many dogs will be there, how do they manage letting the young puppies interact etc.

May pay a visit without dog first to see the way things work .I am often told to socialise the pup but i am a little wary because of his constant habit of biting/mouthing anything that moves so will try and keep human contact to dog type people who know what to expect rather than someone shriek that the little mite has attacked them .
