The girls had a cheeky little visitor earlier in the week, they are helping socialise a mini me, Sasha, who is 9 weeks old and has had her first jab. Both my two are vaccinated, and my garden is in the middle of nowhere, so I invited Sasha and her owner along to come and play with the chocolate numpties.........

    Auntie Indie with Sasha....

    Just Sasha....

    Playing chase with Tau.....

    Gravity's caught up with me......

Oh bum, Auntie Iddie's gonna get me.......

And the cutest pic ever! So Auntie Iddie, go over how to gain selective deafness to a recall one more time .............

Auntie Iddie being a push over
    [IMG]

And Sasha taking advantage and dashing past as fast as her puppy legs will carry her.....

But thinking Auntie Iddie is always a push over might not be all that sensible...

    The two conspirators.....

A couple of pics of Sasha..

What's that I spy in the grass.....

    Is I a pointer??

Auntie Tau rolling over most polite like......

    We are pooped pooches.....

But particularly a pooped Sasha pup.....

Great photo's - looks like fun was had by all
Lovely to be able to help a pup get some good doggy manners and social skills straight away.
I'm sure she'll be back for lots more play.

She's lovely isn't she, and the nice thing is, her owner enquired with me about a pup, and is one of the few people that accepted help and advice to find a pup from a well bred litter. With the help of another experienced breeder, I looked through loads of adverts and a few pedigrees before they chose two litters to look at, and went with their hearts as they really wanted a chocolate bitch pup.

    Gorgeous pup, and gorgeous dogs!

Those last two pics made me laugh - they reminded me of someone helping someone else give birth...

"OK, is there another one coming? 1,2,3 and PUSH!!! And breathe!!!"

Lovely to see them playing. Sasha's a chunky girlie isn't she? Always amazes me how much skin a choccy lab has!! Mum always said her choccy boy Dylan would grow into his skin....he's 10 now and still have enough facial sagging to make another dog from!!

Thanks again for more lovely comments, yes JSR, Sasha IS a chunky pup, she's a very nicely bred pup from show lines. She certainly isn't the chunkiest Lab pup I've seen though!

Dodigna, yes, Tau is very pale, she is the palest choc that I have seen, and if I go ahead and dna test her for colour, I think I may well find, she is *dilute* (if that's the correct term). Her full sister also carries yellow, so there's a possibility Tau also carries yellow, although that doesn't in any way contribute to her pale colouring. The patches on her coat are left over bleached summer coat from last year, so she's actually currently darker at the moment.

Lol at Colliepoodle, Tau just lets me roll her over and pick up her paws and do anything to her, she is such a softie! And she loves playing with pups any day of the week.
