Me and Bram are going to a puppy party tomorrow night, it has been organised by our vets for a chance to meet other pups, and asked questions etc.

I am really looking forward to it.

Has/is anyone else taking their pups to one of these?

I went to a really badly managed one! it was chaos. My pug was fortunately very confident but did get pinned down by a larger dog off lead. The free play off lead was all sizes together and many of the pups had their tails between their legs.

My view of these puppy parties is know your dog. Don't over protect them but do ensure they arent frightened or intimidated. They can do as much damage as good IF they are managed badly.

i am sure yours will be great, have fun! :)

I don't think Bram will be too shy, he loves playing with my OH's mum's dog. I'm looking forward to it even if he isn't!

I went to a course of 3 puppy parties run by our vets, they were hillarious and hugely beneficial to henrick as he got to play with puppies and us humans got to talk to other puppy owners who were all going through the same stages that we were, we also got him microchipped on the last session. I wish I could have gone to tons more, hmmm maybe its time for another puppy:D.

So we went and.bramble had fun I think. He was exhuasted when we got in! Was dissapointed with the informationn given however, the woman only covered things that as a responsible puppy owner everone there should have already known. Good for brams socialisation though

We want to take Alfie to one but our vets only does them for 10-12 week olds and Alfie is 13 weeks. My mum and I have been ill with swine flu for the past 2 weeks so couldnt take him :(
