Just curious... lol. Would you rather have a puppy or a human baby? I'm not a mumsy myself (only 21), I have the two pups. Me and my fiance were on about kids the other night, and I know he'd just love one  The thing is I hate them lol Kids bug me so much lol. So obviously I'd pick a pup any day.
    What about everyone else?

I wanted another puppy, OH talked me into a baby but I dunno how lol!

He has agreed when the baby is 6mths+ I can apply to foster as we are on a waiting list for an AKK but it will be 2013 when the litter is here roughly

I'm careful, I'm sure my fiance keeps trying to convince me to have a baby. Not happening lol. I like my pups lol. I was discussing this with a girl at my work and she said she likes her own kids lol. Maybe I'd be the same lol. Thought still, a cute puppy or baby?!? Nope I still think puppy :p lol

Well im 26 and i have two daughters who are 4 years and 9 months and our dog Bella who is nearly 2.
I can honestly say that a newborn baby is ALOT more work then a pup, however to see Bella and my girls interact and play is amazing. Bella adores them and they adore Bella. Its a fantastic relationship. I can also be sure that your own child wouldnt irritate you. You would love that baby sooooooo much. Being a mummy is very special. xx

I definately wouldn't want another baby now but I'd happily have another puppy ;)

I think they only bug you because they arnt yours believe me when you have your own, other kids will/can still bug you but your own is sooo different.
I would never have picked a puppy over a human baby, i did all the baby bit then when mine were older we had the dogs, but you can have dogs when your older having human babys has a time limit. Unless you want both.

I get teary seeing my older cousins with their little kids, they have brilliant relationships with their kids, and I tend to get like that with family friends' kids anyway! :) Still not looking forward to giving birth, but the rest of it, I can't wait :p

See I use to be completely against kids though I am coming round to the idea. Though at this moment, I still prefer the pups lol. Think I just worry that I couldn't handle a child lol

Both... I'd prefer to get a pup before baby comes along, as we have lots of young-un's in the family for her to be socialised with :)

Holly's real good with kids :) I want a baby, but not till I'm through uni.

AWWW you will have them one day, i work with someone that would have loved children she cant have any and i have seen her so distraught when collegues have come in with their babies during maternity leave it must be so hard, We was due to have a grandchild in september but sadly they lost the baby a few weeks ago, i never realised how much we take having children for granted till now.

I'm only 20 so the thought of kids really isn't in my mind.
But when I see kids screaming in supermarkets and such it's enough to put me off, but then if I had my own kids I think I'd feel different on the matter.

    I'll say puppy for now
    xx

That's such a shame. Sorry to hear that. I know my sister lost a baby a few years back and so did my mother before she had me. I know it was awful for them, guess I hadn't though about taking it for granted..
Still, best not tell the fiance I've been discussing this, he'll get all excited lol.

EmzieAngel: I so agree, though I had an awful time in the Salon today with a Cockerspaniel and swore I'd never have one. Yet tomorrow I'll love them again lol
