Hi my puppy I've had for 4 weeks seems to be sleeping more than usual today, she's eaten her food but less than she usually does. No change in bowel movement and no sickness. Seemed her usual crazy self this morning. She had her second vaccination on monday. She's 12 weeks old. Is this normal behaviour in puppies? I'm a neurotic owner my husband thinks she's just catching up on sleep she's missed out on other days when she doesn't seem to sleep enough.

A puppy can have the odd day when they seem more sleepy than usual and that's not a worry.

If she were to begin showing symptoms of illness or appear unusually lethargic all the time, then she needs to see your Vet.

I wouldn't worry, just see how she is tomorrow. I'm sure she'll be back to herself.

Does sound like a normal puppy to me, they don't bounce around all the time, like us they have their quiet days, but if your still worried tomorrow I'd phone your vet and have a word. They should be open.
