Hi , just wondering if anyone could give us some advice , we have a 7yr old king charles spaniel and a 16 week old jack tzu.
In the house ( it has taken a while as the puppy was very feisty at first) our king charles as taken over as boss and she certainly is in full control over food and she snaps at the puppy if he gets rough jumping all over her, however when we go out for a walk the pup likes to be in front and will tuen to nip her if he can if he thinks she`s going 1st. We have over come this by letting her go slightly ahead and everything is fine.

however today they were both running free on the beach ( the pup will stay close and come back when he`s called) when they where both chasing the ball the pup was snapping at her legs making her fall over, is this a puppy trait, or is it linked to the terrier in his breed and how do we stop it, we don`t want to keep him on a lead at all times as he is doing really well with his fetch and recall. We want to be able to take them together , please help:(
