Thank you I think she is also but then I am biased :p

Sables and merles are my favourite but I do love all the colours :D There are a few sables around but just no where near as common as black and white...the little pup I have is infact blue sable.

Amber is like a princess she is such a sweet natured girl who never does anything wrong and always wants to please you, she is pretty calm but we have her half brother and he is crazy!!

The saying goes that merles are the craziest and thats certainly true with 2 of mine!!

ooo Im going to have to read up on them now! She is stunning, the partner really loves the brown & whites (he grew up with working collies/springers) and we were actually going to get a collie, god, a long time ago now! But when they called to say that they were asking to be loet outside to the toliet at 6weeks old...we decided that it wasnt a good idea to get a dog that was more inteilligent than us haha! :001_smile: Would need more than I could give it I think!

IVe never seen a blue sable or lilac or any border collie other than the b&w / tris / brown & white, will go on google now!!

just found some pics! the lilac & chocolate merles...WOW!

They are such a fantastic breed, I wouldn't be without them :D

Amber's mum was a blue sable but wasn't actually expecting one so it was a nice surprise. You will be so surprised when you see all the colours!! I have blue merles, sables, red tri and black tri.

That is a good sight for colour descriptions, another one is...

    colours
