Probiotics...

    Do any of you supplement your dogs food with probiotics?

    Which make/brand? Any to avoid?

    My GF uses Bionic Biotic. It's expensive though.

    No, but mine get live yoghurt when I have any in the house. I do use one if they have an upset tummy though. I'm not sure I would want to use one a regular basis though because a dog's digestion should be able to cope well without it.

    It's all part of my ongoing battle against Daisy's sensitive tum... I feed her good food AG & Natures menu, and also a herbal supplement called heal by CSJ, and this has made things a million times better, with noticeable impact from both things but...
    I would say she still get the runs at least once (if not twice) a fortnight. I think it is because of how often she swims, and that despite my best efforts she loves to drink out of puddles... so was thinking that a regular probiotic supplement may help even more (fingers crossed!) but there are so many on the market it gets very confusing :confused:

    As my rough has a dicky tum at times I use Protect 2 scoops on his meal at night and so far it seems to do the trick I get it from Dog Health on line.

    entrodex is good so is natural probiotic yoghurt:)
