Had it before a few years ago but never took the test & I'm thinking of taking it again so I can buy myself a cheap 'ped for college this September, then take the theory & road test within the next 2 years
    Should I take the plunge????:confused::

Better than the bus!, just try and get something larger than 50cc so you can keep up with traffic...

Hey if a crunchie comes up at the right price I'm there!

In all seriousness though I'd love a Rebel 125 or similar if I can find a cheap one, had a TZR125 & had trouble keeping it upright as I'm a midget so I prefer the lower the better!

Guy i knew had a TZR125 and i was always soo jealous...it had a full fairing and everything :D, me and my mate painted it in Marlboro replica colours in my mum and dads shed! :D. Anyway, my year of motoring at 16 involved the following...

    Yamaha DT50

    Yamaha V50

    Honda MT5

All great fun at 16 when everyone else was on the bus or a pushbike!.

P.S. They ain't mine by the way, mine never looked that good!!!.

Oh you have to take it again. It will be perfect for the summer. I learnt to ride a motorbike back in April and took my CBT a couple of weeks later and now I'm riding this

    A marauder GZ125

Absolutely love it, don't want to travel any other way now. The car is hardly used lol.

Definitely, go for it. I had to sell both my bikes a couple of years back, an old Kawasaki KH100 in pristine condition, and a brand new cardinal red Triumph Bonneville, wish I'd kept the Bonnie :(

    Lovely bikes everyone:thumbup:
I quite like the Marauder too & Yam Viragos too, there were a couple of other small cruisers that looked ideal but I can't remember what they are off hand

My OH wants to take his again this summer too. I'm so nervous as the last time he was on a ped he was knocked over and almost broke his back :(

Honda and Suzuki both good bikes.....when I passed my cbt and asked the instructor for his opinion on the bikes I had lined up to look at he steered me away from the Yam. He reckoned they don't sell so well later on if you want to sell it.

As you know I have the marauder and I cannot fault it so far. Easy for cornering, very stable. Good for shorties. Bit of a head turner , sounds like more than a 125 cc.
