I just thought it might be fun if we all made poems about our dog and posted them on this thread... im not very good at it but i will try lol

Kya and Loki playing in the garden,
When we got Loki, Kya had a mard on,
    Kya was all snappy,
    Now she's dead happy,

oh well i can't think of anymore lol

Where squirrels scamper and rabbits run,
Where streams sparkle in summer sun,
Where the long grasses shimmer and wave to the skies,
And still ponds are buzzing with beetles and flies,
In cool leafy hollows dappled with light,
Are the places where her soul found delight.

She runs there still, though not to be seen.
Not here nor gone but 'inbetween'.
For from this vale we cannot depart
Whilst we dwell still cherished within a heart.
The woods were her love and she was mine
On familiar paths I walk ofttimes
And when all is quiet on the field on the hill
I see the grass move as her spirit runs there still.

    Dog hair in the kitchen
    Dog hair in the hall
pawprints on the carpet, on the landing , up the wall
oh and have you heard the hoover give a growl instead of purr ?
well I have a sneaky feeling it's clogged up again with fur
and there's dog snot on the windows
    ( a very fetching frosted look )
and the dust is drifting down from where the dogs have shook
but do I feel disheartened ?
no - I'll start a brand new trend
shabby chic is in you know
    so get a canine friend
    he'll customise your kitchen
    feature heavily on dust
    with an applique of pawprints
oh and dog hair is a MUST
to be 'up to the minute' - you know just what to do
for a house is not an 'Ideal Home' without a dog ( or two !!! )
