Tomorrow Flynn goes in for his second hip replacement, please wish him luck as he deserves all the luck in the world. :) It will be interesting to see how the new hip will stand the strain of supporting him throughout his recovery, a test to see just how good it is, while the newer one strengthens.
He's been out today and i'm hoping that these couple of short walks will be the last time he comes back in discomfort.

He's having the right hip replaced this time and you can see how worn down two of his claws are on that foot, I also hear it scratching on the ground when we're out. I will update his diary when he's home and post on his progress tomorrow. Today he's having a chilled day, not too much exercise and plenty of cuddles - will miss him waking me every morning though!

    A gentle game of footie.

A preen for the big day - got to look smart. ;)

A stretch out in the garden, won't be doing that for a while.

He should only be away for two days, if it's done early tomorrow he could be back on Tuesday. The last time the op didn't finish til 10.45pm, so maybe that's why he stayed two days.

He will milk it, that i'm sure of :D but so he should, he gets so much attention when recovering I think he loves that part best! Will keep you all posted when he goes down and when he comes back about how the op went.
Glad Noel's his surgeon though, I so "admire" that man. :001_wub:
