    Hi guys!

I'm just looking to be cheered up as selfish as it sounds. William has been sick the past couple of days so is now staying in the vets overnight for observation as he's quite poorly, although we don't know why as of yet. I'm so worried about him and feel at a loss without him here :(

Please send positive vibes to McGinger tonight. I hope he's home tomorrow :(

    Sparkles

    Thanks so much guys

It's appreciated. And I'm sure William would appreciate it too. Or he will once he gets over his massive huff caused by being made to stay at the vets. I feel like the worst mummy ever even though I know it's for his own good!

Hopefully he'll be home tomorrow and soon be right as rain :)

Looking to be cheered up DOES NOT make you selfish-it makes you a kind and worried owner who needs support and thats what we are all here for

Hope William is back home with you tomorrow-
its awful when they have to be left at the vets-it makes you feel like you are abandoning them and you cant explain to them that you`re not.
Please let us all know how he is

    Thinking of you

BIG HUGS from Maureen-our 2 ginger boys,Dougal , 14 and Ollie, 6 send big hugs too as they think they may be Williams long-lost cousins-well thats what they said to me just now ,but they do talk a load of rubbish sometimes so I wouldnt bother mentioning it to William
Sorry if I sound a bit too flippant-just trying to make you smile!!!

Maureen, it didn't only make me smile, it made me laugh :D I've not been much in the mood for laughing today, so thank you.

You're all lovely and you're kind words are much appreciated. Strangely enough I'm dreading not being awoken at the crack of dawn by some little fluffy thing wanting attention.

    Thanks again.

Awww no :( Poor baby William :(

Tell him when you see him tomorrow that Auntie Aurelia said he's very naughty for worrying mummy so much, and that if he promises to get better quickly so he can go home to mummy I shall send him a little pressie ;)

(((Hugs))) My heart sank when I read the title of this thread, and that's me! Lord knows how out of your mind you must be. xxx

Aw Aurelia you're right. I'm a very sad Sparkles this evening. I'm about to have a glass of wine the size of my head in the hope that it'll help me sleep tonight.

I just keep thinking horrible things even though the vet didn't seem massively concerned due to the fact that he is still wanting food (even though he can't keep it down), toileting normally, and wasn't running a temperature. He was dehydrated though which was obviously the kicker. They said it was likely he'd be put on a drip tonight and they gave him an antibiotic injection as despite the fact he isn't running a temp they think it's an infection. I was very upset so stupidly forgot to ask a lot of questions :(

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. It helps :)

    Sparkles
    xxx
