    Hi everybody,

We are new to the forum and havent really got a clue what we are doing

Almost a month ago, we lost our beloved JRT who had been with us 18.5 yrs, she was 5 weeks old when she arrived. It has to be one of the worst things we have ever gone through in our lives. :(

Well the time has come to begin our search for a new terrier love, possibly not a JRT as this may be to emotional for us.

Please wish us luck on our plight :)

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Wow i thought my collie had done well when i was a child, she lived to 17.
It is so hard when you lose them isn't it.

So glad for you that you are ready to share your love with another little soul now, what about visiting your local rescue centres and seeing what they have available?

I am sorry for your loss.

I hope you will consider a rescue in your search. With so many unwanted dogs, you don't just get the opportunity for another family member, but you can actually make a huge difference to a dog's life.

Best of luck and if you need any assistance from the rescue perspecitve there are loads of people on here who would be only too happy to assist. :)

    x
