    My son in law's boss is selling shih tzu puppies and im intersted in them. The only problem is the mother of the puppies doesnt have the pedigree papers. They have sent me a picture of the mother but im not sure if it looks 100% shih tzu. can anyone help please.

    she looks like a shih tzu to me but i am no expert on them:)

    She looks shih Tzu, but with out papers you'll never be 100% sure.
    And the pictures not great quality.

    As the above to posters have said she does look like a shiz tuz but with out papers you will never know for sure!

    Yup, definately a shih tzu or possibly lhasa. Hard to tell by that picture. She looks very similar to our bridge baby, Sam, who was on the large side of shih tzu (we did wonder if he was lhasa x shih tzu even those his papers said shih tzu)

    Hi there, do you know why the mum doesn't have pedigree papers? Are they saying she is a pedigree but they just don't have the papers? Or don't they know etc?

    Do you know whether the dad is a pedigree? Have you seen him or his papers?

    It depends on why you want a pedigree, but if it is just for the look, personally I would be more interested in whether they have had all their health tests etc. rather than to whether they are a pedigree or not.
