    Hello from sunny Smallfield!
I have a small outside aviary with 4 canaries (2 female and 2 male).
Recently I have come across a problem with one of the females.
I hope I can find the answer to help the female getting back into her own self!

One of my canary females was doing really well and paired with one of the males, made a nest and put 5 eggs. Everything was going so well.
Then disaster struck: the nest was faulty and fell, breaking all the eggs.
She did try to build another nest but was bullied by zebra finches (who I have now given away) and could not go back to build her nest again.
Now she doesn't look well, appears very sleepy, closes her eyes often and even has trouble flying.
The other birds are not harassing her in any way, in fact her pair male even tries to feed her sometimes.
She eats really well, in fact she looks like she is eating all the time, seeds, apple, egg food, you name it she eats everything she can.

Today I picked her up and she feels thin even knowing she eats so much...

I don't really know what to do with her but would very much like to get her back to her former shape.

Does anyone has any ideia what to do?

I include a couple of photos I took of her today.

    Many thanks.
