I had two wonderful dogs when I was a child. One called Bonnie and one called Lassie. They were cross breeds and I have never been able to figure what they were. I hope you can help.

I think she may have SBT and collie in her but her ears remind me of a gsd

    Lassie:

I honestly have no clue what she is. She had very thick fur though, almost wool like and we shaved her every summer to keep her cool :)

Bonnie I would say maybe collie x staff cross collie? There definately alot of collie in her.

Lassie, maybe bearded collie crossed with a terrier? Border terrier perhaps?

    xx

I thought Bonnie was Collie x lab at first but I think her snout in the wrong shape, it's quite Jack Russell-ish, but you can see a bit of Staffy in her head too! Staffy x Collie sounds quite promising, were they fairly common breeds in your area?

Oh, and I dunno if it's just the picture being a bit grainy but she looks to have some smaller spots on her coat, as well as the big black patches? That's typical of Spaniels so there could be some spainel in there somewhere.... or maybe even Dalmatian! :D

And lassie, I think is a beardie cross with another terrier, maybe cairn or border?

I don't think collies were common in the area so much as cross collies :D

She was a very spotty dog, I wouldn't surprised if there was spaniel or dalmation in there :D

Thanks! I've wondered for so long what breeds they were lol!!
