I recently adopted two kittens dodie and olive. Now dodie is a little older then olive (we’re not sure by how much as they’re both rescues but she’s definitely bigger). They do the usual play fighting which both of them initiate but often olive will end up meowing or calling out as dodie is biting her back or neck. I’ve read that they should then separate and go back to playing but dodie doesn’t let go and keeps going. Olive does still go back for more playing so I’m not completely concerned but I’m worried it’ll turn into real fighting and I don’t know how to discourage it without stopping them playing.
