Is is worth paying out for the highest level of insurance for an 8wk old pup? or is it best to start with silver then up grade after a few years??

Thinking of going with Argos after reading lots of recommendations on previous post??

Go for the cover that you need. That is, if you want the lifetime cover it's much better to start off with it because if your pup gets any problems on an annual policy once the year is up you won't get insurance for those problems ever again. With lifetime they'll keep paying.

Argos are pretty good - but then, like most other 'names' they tend to offer pretty much the same deals as each other. It might be worthwhile checking out other companies to see what alternatives there are. If you click on the link in my sig below you can see some of the things that you should consider when buying pet insurance. And then you can compare the 20 or so offerings that have passed our tests.

In ALL cases - before committing - read the policy first. It's no good saying that you didn't realise something when you make a claim.
