As this is a pet forum for people who love & cherish their animals I highly doubt anyone on here is going to want to battery farm quail.

How can this be considered humane in any way?:(

I totally agree that this is a pet forum and I also love, cherish and keep pets.

This is one of the reasons that quails need to be kept in cages, you cant keep quails as a pets or for hobby reasons outside a cage as they will fly away. You can keep them in single cage for personal or keep them in larger cages if you are a farmer breeding them, this is a safer, hygienic and more controlled environment where you know they will be kept safe and in an humane way.

I respect averyones opinion, but please do read up on how to best keep quails and requirements set out by DEFRA for poultry register where you can find for information.
