Plant Envy .....

    I’ve never had much success with Poinsettia’s but the one in my sister’s garden puts all of mine to shame.

    It must be 5-6 feet high and 10 feet wide!

    Wow! I never knew they grew outside - I always thought they were houseplants. I don't try with them now as they are poisonous to cats but never had any success in the past.

    They are house plants for us in the UK.

    I'm at her house in the Dominican Republic at the moment ;)

    There are lots of plants around her of monster proportions that we normally see at home in a tiny pot!

    She also has avocado trees, lizards and humming birds in her garden

    Ohhhhhh, humming birds, how wonderful.

    We stayed with some friends in Canada and they had hummers come to special feeders in their garden. They were enchanting
