Janice is trying to put me out of business :D

I think its great to suggest places that are dog friendly. Our dogs always come with us and my cats are taken care of by our pet sitters ;):)

Camping :D We bought a big tent. The last place we went was Beddgelert in Snowdonia. That was really eventful - there was a gale overnight. We pitched next to a little stream - we woke up in a lake

It was so windy the metal tent poles bent to right angles - we had to crawl out, army style. Slept in the rocking car (no it wasn't us rocking it;)) and watched portaloos roll by like tumbleweed:eek::eek:

In the morning we piled everything back in to the car soaking wet. Everyone on the campsite got together for hot chocolate and borrowed towels - there was a real sense of camaraderie. Scary as it was it was very exciting.

Never got to see the village though, maybe we'll go back this summer:D

No we never got into the village at all :( Cheatingrabbit has been - I'm sure is told you he's from those parts. We have a wolfhound, so that's one of the reasons I wanted to visit the grave too.

    Second time lucky, hey?

Lovely camp site to go to in Wales is this one

Brynawelon Touring Caravan and Camping Park - Home Page

They have a kennels there as well so if you want to go to visit a place where you cannot take your four legged friends into they can be looked after at the campsite.

I know the people that own it and they are 'true' dog people not just someone who has built a kennels to make a bit of cash out of holidaymakers so to speak, so can vouch that your furbaby will be well looked after whilst you enjoy some old ruin in Wales
