Hi I have kept zebra finch for the last few yrs now, my mum asked me to take in her male. Now its parents were pied female all white and male white with fawn markings, this one the offspring is all white exept for black tear drop markings under the eyes. Now She assumemd he was a male, put him in with my last surviving male, and he was trying to mount it. They are getting on well with no fighting. Do you think its a female after all or is it normal for males to do that lol. I know its not easy without a pic sorry xx lisa xx

male zebras will try to mount any new bird, male or female, possibly a dominance thing, also if they havent seen another zebra in a while they will try it on when they see one lol
