So we are picking up the newest addition to our family 2nd week in June, as expected me and the OH are MEGA excited, we have cleared a whole room for her to run wild during the day and still be safe/worry free (apart from the wires situation - link). We have also read the "Kittens for Dummies" book which was very helpful.
The list of things we have are; bedding, scratching post, carrier, kitten litter tray, collar and tag, couple of toys, water bowl, automatic feeder bowl for food and catnip spray.
Apart from litter and food (the breeder is going to let us know nearer the pick up which type to buy) i think we have thought of everything..... but incase we havent, is there any tips or must haves that i havent thought of?
It's not a necessity but just a suggestion, Feliway spray/diffuser? I think it makes a difference as Robbie hasn't been scratching the sofa since I first used it!
Well I shopped around online but got the spray from Amazon as it was the best price, think around £13 and you don't have to use very much of it. I don't know how much it does for him, but I was worried about him settling in etc and he has done very well, whether the Feliway helped I will never know!
Great to hear you're all ready!!
Such an exciting time indeed.
It always seems like such a long wait.
Hope it flys by and comes around really quickly for you. Good luck!!
We are so excited that we arent even that excited about our holiday in 2 weeks, all we keep thinking is when we get back, Ninja will be here running rings round us.
Cant wait to get lots of action pictures of her running around like a mad woman
they def test ya patience like at 4am when they decide u need to wake up oakley has done that to us for the last 2 mornings as we cant shut our bedroom door
