I have just had a good quote for insurance for Buddy

    Veterinary fees cover
    We offer two policy options.

Our Essential policy covers the cost of treating injury, illness and disease for a period of 12 months from the onset of the condition, up to £4,000.

Our Advanced policy covers injury, illness and disease up to £6,000 per condition with no time limit on reaching this.

An excess is applicable per condition on both policy options. Please refer to the policy for full cover details.

I was going to go for the Advanced Policy.

Does this sound ok? I have never had pet insurance before so im really unsure what is a good policy?

    Thanks Emma x

Definitely don't go for the 12 month policy.
The advanced policy sounds fine, who is it with?
If you could get one that covers more than £6000 so much the better

One other thing to look at is some insurers you pay an excess (which is the norm) and also pay say 30% of the vets bill!

I had found this when looking for my puppy due to come home on the 4th June. I ended up going with Argos pet insurance and having the platinum one. Very good prices!
