does anyone know of any pet friendly beaches within an hour of watford,i know ot`s a long shot.
some of us staff memebers want to take some of the long term dogs to the beach, but we are only allowed to take them if it`s near watford.
we orriginally wanted to take them to hunstanton in norfolk, but we aren`t allowed.(the dogs have behavioural issues and it`s too much of a risk, apparently)
we were hoping to go in the next 2 weeks

When I lived in St Albans we used to go to Southend alot as it seemed to be the nearest coast.

This was probably 15 years ago, and didn't have dogs (we went more for the beer etc!) but perhaps there are some more dog friendly beaches along that bit of coastline.
