Would you sell a pet for a christmas pressy???
not if the person that was recieving it didnt know,
A deffo no from me!
No, I don't think pets make good presents, in much the same way as I wouldn't like to be given a pet, I would want to choose my own.
A huge no I stop re homing my rescues before xmas to see as they arnt for presents.
A definate no from me.
Pets not presants
they'll just get thrown out like a broken toy after a few weeks
Unfortunately I cannot remember who said that :
"They are not an items, they are little souls!"
a dog isn't just for christmas, if you have a freezer it'll last 'til easter
no i wouldn't
i like it
no from me too.
No I wouldnt either but I did get my very first DDB as an xmas present and I am glad that I did....hes my heart and soul. But I did choose him myself and got him a few days after xmas.
Totally depends on the circumstances... If it's a suprise definately not tho!
You are brill Magik thats what I was waiting to hear, I think because of the price of some pets ie, bulldogs, pedigree cats ect, some people need to justifie spending that sort of money on a pet and aslong as a breeder does the same checks as they do all year round then why not???
It would have to have been requested and would have to be known about... i do agree with Magik when he says not as a surprise as you are not fully prepared for the responsibility.
If you know about it you make yourself prepared for it....
Personally though, i wouldnt buy a pet as an xmas present
