Just spent the afternoon skiving watching Breakfast at Tiffany's on the tele and still got tearful at the end when she gets reunited with 'Cat, poor slob without a name ' in the alley

I remember many years ago the first time I ever watched this film and always vowed one day to own a ginger puss... I just looked him up and his real name was Orangey and he was the only cat to win 2 Patsy awards (an animal actor's version of an Oscar)

I just realised that guess what.. my dream came true!:biggrin::biggrin:

So have you fulfilled your cat dreams yet or are you still waiting?

Wow!! How uncanny!! :thumbup1: After my Amber and Buster passed away I really wanted black and white kittens and hunted high and low for suitable ones and I did find them in the end :)

When old Bumble my semi-feral had to be PTS I thought I would never have another cat,but one day I suddenly had the urge to "start again" and after being refused one from many rescues because I wanted an "indoor cat" I decided to go buy a Ragdoll as they are known for their laid back, gentle nature and look what I ended up with  .........

Not sure I got exactly what I had hoped for but I wouldn't swap him for the world :D

My cat ambitions are the same as OliviaRussians and Lynns! They started with the very first cats I knew as a child: a couple of my aunties had Seal point meezers and my Granny had a MASSIVE longhaired ginger. I haven't quite satisfied them yet: I have 2 longhaired seal points (I know, not meezers, but I love longhairs) but I'm still waiting for that massive ginger to come along.....Fluff Beast is pretty gigantic though so am happy :)

My childhoood favourite was Poes Pinkie:

I 'read' this book a million times.

And when I was 4, I got my very own poes Pinkie

I have had a number of grey tabbies since then, and I still have a soft spot for them.

Breakfast At Tiffanys - my favourite film ever.

I always wanted to go to witch school after reading The Worst Witch books -loved the thought of being given a kitten to train to ride on a broomstick.
