I suppose giving them away is better than letting them fester away in their hutches.

I just dread to think what sort of home they will end up in.

    Will do, thanks...

Of course, i have never had baby rabbits before (especially soooo young)... But i cannot leave them there with them! :cursing:

I'll get them checked over by a vet if i can have them, and of course inform the RSPCA... I hate to think what they'll do to the new dog!!

    Thanks..

I was going to start and foster for the RSPCA.. they are crying out for the room in the Bradford branch...
    This'll be a start.. lol
I would hopefully keep the female, but the babies (when they are old enough) and the males would almost certainly have to find new homes..
I wouldnt have room to keep them and be a fosterer as well

The RSPCA actually bring you all the equiptment you will need anyway.. Their own hutches, toys, food etc...
I will be fostering guineas and hamsters too..
Maybe even a doggie or two (although we'll have to see how Oscar would react first) He'd be upset if they suddenly left

We just have to have another home visit then were good to go

On the first visit she told us that we had to fence off the front garden so nothing falls in the pond lol
(the garden wraps round 3 sides of the house if that makes sense)

    Will do...

I've been on about setting up my own re-homing facilities.. maybe breeding too.. not sure yet..

    It's in my other thread...
Not sure if i'm allowed to post it... its in the rodent section (is it true)

We'll have to find room for my niece's slide and swing and things too..
Sure it'll be ok though... It's a huge garden (the front is 65ft wide and the back isnt far off) lol

Oh yeh had a quick read through, thats a big reason why i hate petshops so much although many breeders dont seem to be much better, fighting bit of a losing battel me thinks sometimes

Be great if you set up a rescue, i'll warn you though you'll go rescue mad theres so many bunnies you wont need to breed! When we eventually find a house to buy id love to foster.... think id have trouble rehoming them though id want to keep them all!! :D

lol.. I was thinking the same about wanting to keep them but if they were going to a good home (and i'd make sure they were) then it wouldnt be so bad... Well i say that now anyway :D

Yeh its so sad you'll find hundreds of ads like that, wont take you long to fill up! Least they will be safe, bunnies advertised for free on those sites sometimes end up in the pot or fed to snakes :(

Hi i am really shocked that ppl can get "fed up" with their pets if they can't be bothered with the poor buns anymore why the heck get another pet the poor dog i really think ppl like that should be banned from keeping any type of defenceless animals.
