Unfortunately, some people go for style rather that their animals own comfort :(

I don't like the way they try to appeal to children with the different themes, but i think they are ok cages, as long as you have enough of them connected together! I probably wouldn't put a syrian in there though in case it got stuck in the tubes as they are fairly narrow :D

To purge is to get rid of or eliminate :) Purge the world of animal testing is to eliminate animal testing in the world.

    Peace

purge means clean or get rid of, its the name of my shop and website when its ready in the next month or so. We are selling cruelty free household cleaning, toiletries and cosmetics, lol.

the website when its finished is purgetheworld.co.uk. as in purge the world of animal testing but it leaves us open to purge other things later on :D

Its a good stand alone word to say too. after you have said it a few times it stops having a meaning. lol

I hate those types of cages! I would never keep a hamster in that.

all the rotastak are a very popular cage in the way that you can add onto it and change it to make it different for the hammy, and i dont see why a syrian would get stuck in it., unless you have an over weigh hammy, most of the dwarf hammys struggle with the rotastak as some cant not get up the tubes as most of the tubes dont have ridges on the inside, mice love all the tubes and stuff but tend to wee in them and they can be a bugger to clean! i dont have rotastak any more but wen i fist started working in the pet shop i had my 3 gerbils in them untill i go fed up of replacing chewed tubes lol

It could be far worse, but no, I wouldn't keep a hamster in one of them either :(

Aswell as being really difficult to clean, i just don't see the attraction of what is quite a small cage. I would never buy one.

I cant stand those! It looks awful and it seems too enclosed as well as being too small on its own for any hamster! it'd be ok as an add on but even then i wouldnt envy the job of cleaning it!
