This I why I like my elderly Nokia, it's been dropped, thrown against a wall, lost on a muck heap, nibbled by piglets, left in the park overnight and dropped in water trough - still works

Just make sure it's dried out properly before trying to turn it on again, don't be inpatient and try too soon.

Know the feeling, had the Galaxy Note 3 weeks, and it fell off a shelf on to a steel work surface!

My daughter had her phone go through an entire washer cycle before she noticed. We buried it in rice for 2 days after doing our best to dry it.

It actually turned on

She soon replaced it as the screen was dimmer than she remembered, but the rice did seem to do the trick.

Only if they were waterproof. I'd let your phone dry out for a while. I dropped one of mine down a toilet and It took a year before it worked again.

take it apart and dry the bits as best you can, give a quick blast with the hairdryer then stick it in rice for a day or two and it will hopefully turn back on.

I took the battery and sim out of mine and put it in the tumble dryer

This was after it fell down the loo and I pee'd on it rinsed under the tap, sprayed it with dettol antibac.

It worked, dried it out, turned it on and yay all working, took it out with me tonight and managed to get it soaked again only some keys work now
