Do you have any good recipes for a good chocolate cake? I know how to make butter icing but I lost my recipe for chocolate cake :(

    Basically, 6oz butter/margarine
    6oz caster sugar
    5oz self-raising flour
    1oz cocoa powder
    3 eggs

It ends up very yummy, even though it's basically just a sponge with a bit of cocoa. I don't know of any other recipes, but try looking around for different ones and test out different kinds. I settle for plain old :)

Haha, feel free to welcome yourself. I love to bake. The other day I made choux buns (huge profiteroles), a chocolate cake and chocolate chip biscuits :)

Using electric beaters is a lot easier than a wooden spoon...discovered after our first attempt, a week or so the beaters died so we did it by hand this time and it bloody tires you out. But tasted delicious :D
