OK Until now Angel has been onlead
we have - A short rope lead - up to 1 1/2 hr
    OR a 5m Flexi 2 1/2 hr
10m long line 30ish mins (5 min walk on short rope each way as well)

When she is on the long line she is a class clown & runs jumps in circles & is generally a menace LOL as i get tied up or end up playing jump rope HAHA

ANYWAY i have found a kick pitch that is completely encased apart from a door size hole which i stand guard in

the 3x we have been on there she has just walked sniffed had a little run & that is about it BUT i felt it was good for her as she wasnt attached to or at my beck & call to direction

Today she found her legs :) & BOY did she enjoy running in circles & up & down the lengh of the pitch

How long is ok for her to be tearing about - im going to TRY to introduce a ball tomorrow i just have to be careful never to move away from the entrance or the little minx will be off like a shot ! (she has got out the 3x before but im onto her little tricks to get past me now so she didnt get out today)

After about 15mins she had had enough & came & sat down next to me so we left

How long would you expect a Med size dog (10-11kg) probably GSD mix 10mth old puppy to be "free" to run & play in such an enclosed space as i want to build it up slowly

    THANKS

Zab gets an hour each day of free running, he's offlead all the time now so nothing is forced and I never make him do more than he wants to.
He can and will do more if I continued

But I've been building him slowly.

The only forced exercise he gets is 75mins at dog training each week and he's always tired after that.
