After an unpleasant and highly unexpected hospital admit some days ago, I was discharged this afternoon.
It's going to be a good few days before I can be upright for any length of time and I'm incredibly delicate but these two as usual have simply accepted the situation and are velcro'ing to me even more than normal.

They're so pleased to have me home and are being so careful around me.
It's nothing short of astounding just how intuitive dogs are.

    Edit:
Not sure why the double up of Logans name in the title.... thanks autocorrect.

Liked for the doggy nurses, not the poorliness!

Dogs are amazing, aren't they. Fidget has never struck me as emotionally tuned in, but when I was in bits over Scrumpy Jack, he stayed with me in bed and came in for cuddles and licked my face.

They look like they've got everything under control there :)

Viral meningitis. I can't say i saw that one coming! It's been pretty terrifying tbh.

They're just the cutest aren't they? They're doing their bit to help.

It's just incredible isn't it. They're just so in tune with us.

It's been awful. The last few days have been like living through an episode of House what with all the scans and drugs and lumbar punctures... lol!

He'll be home from work in around half an hour thankfully. He's very supportive.

I managed a whole 25 minutes of standing today... in total. That was split across various bits of moving around. I can't do too much before the pain is so bad I HAVE to lay down before my body MAKES me lay down lol.

I'm not gonna lie, a few days ago I was really struggling. It's been one thing after another for so very long now. My poor dad had to be on his own for a few hours each day whilst mum came to visit (she insisted) which scared the beejesus out of me. It's just been yet another thing to worrying about. It's also terrible timing as we've got people on holiday at work over the next week or two and we're only a tiny team.

I'm fairly sure your boss can't say much about viral meningitis! You poor love, that sounds horrible. Take your time getting over it. Don't rush.

My boss will be lovely about it! I highly expect the only person giving me grief about taking time off will be me. Lol

    Oh yuck, that sounds horrible.
So glad the dogs are being helpful. Nothing like a good dog snuggle when you feel poorly.
