Can you please help I have just recently had my female cat of 8 months spayed and she had the stitches out on Friday. Since the operation she has stopped using her litter tray which is placed in the bathroom and she has started using the bath mat. If I put the bath mat on the side of the bath to stop her, she uses the floor and then pulls the bath mat down to cover it.

    Hi,
Firstly is the litter tray big enough for her, and is it kept clean. For now i would keep the bath mat out the way to stop her from using it. Also have you considered using another tray in a different area and/or changing your cat litter.

Get some Cat attract spray for your litter tray:)
Wash were she has had a pee with biological washing powder nothing else this removes the smell:)

  4. I have not heard that Cat Attract can be in a spray...I bought quite a lots of ordinary Cat Attract litter.

It's quite interesting that your cat's new behavior started after the surgery. Cats usually pee outside the box to let you know about discomfort or pain.

I would be patient and wait until the wound has healed completely.
