Why is it that I keep having nose bleeds? I had one two nights ago in bed and also a one last night at a restaurant, I spent twenty minutes in the toilets and it didn't stop fully for at least half an hour.
I do have a cold. And I'm sitting expecting another one sometime today.
Can someone explain to me why I keep getting them? :frown2:

I sometimes have nosebleeds and it's nothing to worry about.

However my OH is anaemic and when he has nosebleeds I get really worried because there's so much blood

My son has regular severe nosebleeds for no apparent reason. He has been to hospital to have his nose cauterised on 2 occasions yet he still has them. The doctor said nothing to worry about - just put up with them!

If there is no apparent reason why people have them then nothing can be done  I've lost count of the number of times Jack has had one in his sleep and woke up covered in blood!

They do say if a nose bleed lasts longer than 10 mins you should see a doctor and get it checked out. Some people suffer because of humidity and some times need to have there nose courterised.

    Hi jess
i am on warfarin i have nose bleeds regular! They are nothing to worry about unless you have high blood pressure or anemia!
Otherwise stress can cause nose bleeds!

I agree that you should get your blood pressure checked as regular nosebleeds can be a sign of high blood pressure. I used to get them alot but not had one for years now x
