if your corn snake was pregnant then a few weeks near to the end of the gestation period she is likely to not eat and will take on a kind of triangular shape to the body where the underneath is bigger than the bottom, u may also be able to feel the eggs inside her if you run your fingers down her stomach, but you must be creful doing this.

if you think she is pregnant then place a laying box in the viv with very damp vermiculite in (if you plan to incubate the eggs) then if she lays you can remove the eggs safetly and they will have a better chance at hatching

if you plan for youor corn snakes to mate then you will need to hibernate them for a period then when the come out of hibernation and have feed u themselves they will begin to mate.

if you hibernate them then they will breed once per year, otherwise they should mate.

the time of year usually depends on when u hibernate them but the hibernation process should start around november time until january, and then you should get eggs at about febuary, which will hatch in march/april.

the females will usually lay a second clutch but this will be smaller and less are likely to hatch out.

    hope that helps u
