Thank you, ok?
This site is like most others - no matter what you say!
Speaking of losing members, I've literally just signed up and already I'm having second thoughts about it. Some of us want to join a forum, have a debate and yes even the odd spat with people who also have been adopted by a cat companion, not join the Orwellian state.
Healthy debate is literally not encouraged if you have censors and loads of anti-democratic, anti free speech rules.
I don't really see what the fact someone chose to be an unpaid moderator here has to do with anything. Surely, we can disagree with how the forum is ran whether moderators are paid or not? Anyway, hobbs said it well and i do have a choice to do something other than post here with my time, so...It's just a shame most online forums are such anti-democratic, anti-intellectual places, with a bunch of adults acting like children.
This is far from an anti-intellectual place. You have been given a hard time as you are ignoring all the evidence about a certain matter and refusing to do what it suggests is best for your cat.
It has a lot to do with everything. Slagging off or belittling volunteers who give up their time and have the power to decide on the fate of threads or membership ain't the smartest course of action.
They didn't last long LOL!
Ah, see what you mean
yes i couldent even find any solid rules but i got a dumb message not letting me post saying it was "spam-like" i modded the message till it let me but that degraded the quality of the message, all i did was post asking if anyone else seen a cat like this before and then not aloowed i have to goto this site then this next site, is this cat an escapee from a 7th floor facility idk. there was a link that contained a .zip containing more .jpgs of the cat i was showing both of which are approved formats. and that is probbaly reason it spammed that dumb warning.
I joined for the first time some years ago but swiftly left after a vicious telling off about one of my posts re indoor/outdoor cats.
I re-joined under a different email as I really liked some of the people on here and enjoyed cat chat.
The same thing has recently occurred again.
Could I suggest that people take a good look at the posts before they jump to take offence?
If you have issues with a poster please use the report button and we can take a look
This was brilliant.

And I missed all the fun.
Was this a new record?
Wow GPTC, I would say it's a record, but I don't understand ........ ?
I clicked on the 'Grey Kitten Wanted' but didn't get anything you might call 'fun'. Please tell us what you did and how you came to be banned.
There's a second thread. Possibly deleted now though
Not me banned!!! I'm a good boy (most of the time)

I wouldn't dream of it.
Note to self... Read Rules!
Sad hey - but its the NET and this happens all the time on all sites!
That's why this and most other forums, Facebook groups etc. have moderators, to deal with arguments and various other issues. So behave!
Not sure that this is in the right section . . . it does not appear to be, @Thania Slim.
