    Hi

Ive had a cavalier king charles puppy for a week and was told by the breeder to feed him Purina Pro Plan, we give him exactley what it says on the bag. The problem is he always seems hungary and eats all his meals in seconds, is this normal, any tips

    Thanks in anticipation.

All dogs are different, some are couch potatoes others use excessive amounts of energy the amount on the packaging is just a guide. If you feel your pup is underweight then increase the food slightly. Get the vet to check your pups weight and condition next time you are there :)

I agree with Rona though most pups will gobble their food down at first. Comes with the territory of being born with 5+ other hungry pups and trying to eat your fair share of food :p

My GSD did this but she calmed down once she realised no-one was going to pinch her food.
