    Hi all

Well, I have been reading posts on here for a few weeks now so thought it only polite to say hello!
We have been arranging for a few days now to have a re-homed dog from someone in Stoke. He has been handed over to us as they are no longer working in the pub which they were, and the new pub has a strictly no dog policy. So hubby has stepped in and offered him a new home, rather then them handing him over to a resuce centre or worse.
We know of them through friends of friends really, but everyone has said how good the dog is and he is so soft he used to sleep with the sheep and sheep dogs that were by their old pub! He is used to daily handling by differant people all age groups etc, he was let lose to walk around the customers etc at the pub.
So, hubby has gone to fetch him now!!! I am sitting here twiddling my thumbs and hoping we are doing the right thing, yet I know we are lol.
He loves our kids and is very gentle too.
He is a cross alsation labrador, and hubby says these breeds are very loving and a good pet for families. I used to have a cross alsation collies and he was soft too so we are now adding to our family with another MALE!!! LOL, he is jabbed, neutered and in good all round health, so we just have to feed him and love him and play endless games of catch with him now.....
Sorry if I am babbling, just excitment I guess!
