Well, I treated the girls to a lovely, posh new cat tree - which has so far been ignored

That's a great new tree :) Hopefully once they get used to it being in place they'll try it out !

I've given up buying Bertie trees or beds they just get the cold shoulder and gather dust ! As far as he's concerned there are only two places to "bed down" - first is my bed and second is my lap :rolleyes:

If the response is anything like Misty's to new beds, then just give it ooh, about six months!!

Lovely tree though. They can be so ungrateful can't they?

What a lovely tree! They are so funny - no one used the top platform on our new tree for weeks but now they all use it but Cosmo in particular uses it as his lookout.

Alfie LOVES all the cat trees I have here for them.
Though every evening when I finally settle down on the sofa to read, go online etc he comes & lays on his blanket next to me.
Ebony’s not bothered about cat trees at all, she may/ sometimes take a sniff/ look at the latest one that comes in the house. After that she ignores it
They have a huge scratching post, that I brought from zooplus a few years ago, when it was delivered I was a bit worried as it was so thick & tall, it’s huge. But they both love it, Alfie even climbs up it & sits right at the top of the post.

Lolita sat on the bottom bed for a couple of minutes last night but it obviously wasn't in the right place as her usual 'looking out of the window' position

I'm sure they will use it in time! I have the jumbo scratch post from them but only Luna uses it :)

Could you perhaps scatter a few Dreamies or Snackies on it as enticement?
